Clinic hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm. No nights or weekends.

Job Summary:
The Medical Radiographer assists primary care providers in the care and treatment of patients by performing medical radiography on regions of the human body under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Responsibilities include preparation of patients, administering x-ray services in accordance with established radiography standards, and fully documenting all care received by patients in the electronic health record.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs medical radiography on regions of the human body using routine procedures for interpretation by and under the direction of a licensed practitioner.
- Escorts patients and prepares them for examinations.
- Verifies patient information, reviews and/or records medical history, and confirms the purpose of the visit or treatment.
- Utilizes appropriate positioning, shielding, safety standards, and performs procedures according to policies and procedures.
- Ensures radiographic equipment is operationally maintained.
- Takes responsibility for establishing and carrying out appropriate monitoring systems that includes: wearing a film badge in appropriate body location, returning monitors in a timely basis, recording monitoring reports, and working with his/her supervisor to promptly correct any deficiencies.
- Labels and files films in an organized manner and logs information accurately and legibly.
- Performs and records quality control checks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Duties 1 through 8 are designated as ADA Essential Functions and must be performed in this job. All other job duties are secondary functions.

- Ability to actively participate in marketing and outreach activities when requested and emergency response events when required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written skills highly desired.
- Ability to navigate EHR.
- Knowledge of radiation safety.
Education and Experience, Licensure and Certification:
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Must have a current Medical Radiographer License in the State of Nebraska.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification from the American Registry of Radiographic Technologists preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to utilize own transportation for work purposes.
