Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging X-rays.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate diagnostic evaluation.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow radiation protection guidelines.
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process.
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician.
- Proficient in performing X-rays.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical imaging techniques.
- Ability to accurately interpret images and provide diagnostic evaluations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
