SalaryWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our team. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Duties:
- Perform diagnostic X-rays on patients as directed by physicians
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Process digital images- Assisting patients to exam rooms, complete a thorough intake and assisting physicians as needed- Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images
- Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures performed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma , completion of an accredited X-ray Technician program required
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or X-ray Technician
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
