We are seeking a skilled and experienced X-ray Technician to join our medical team. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic evaluations through medical imaging techniques. Your expertise in operating X-ray equipment and knowledge of anatomy will contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, PET scan machines, sonography equipment, and mammography machines
- Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging techniques for each patient
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during imaging procedures
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques
Experience:
- Proven experience as an X-ray Technician or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and other medical imaging devices
- Familiarity with various imaging techniques, such as PET scans, sonography, and mammography
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $2,195.00 - $2,296.00 per week

- Monday to Friday

- Weekends as needed
