Title: Authors for Children’s Yoga Books

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative authors to collaborate with us on a series of children’s Yoga Books. As a children's writer, you will be responsible for developing engaging and educational content that introduces children to the world of yoga in a fun and accessible way.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for children’s literature, a solid understanding of yoga principles, and the ability to write in a captivating and age-appropriate manner. Illustration capabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the project team to develop the overall concept and themes for the Book Series.

  • Create engaging characters and storylines that incorporate yoga principles and poses.
  • Write clear, concise, and age-appropriate content that appeals to children aged 4-8.
  • Ensure the content is educational, inspiring, and promotes mindfulness and physical activity.
  • Conduct thorough research on yoga principles and poses to ensure accuracy and authenticity.
  • Revise and edit content based on feedback from the project team. Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a ghost writer or children’s book author.
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and storytelling techniques.
  • Familiarity with yoga principles and poses, and the ability to explain them in a child-friendly manner.
  • Creativity and the ability to develop engaging characters and storylines.
  • Strong research skills to ensure accuracy and authenticity.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively with a team. To apply, please submit:
