Wound Care Nurse Practitioner

Wound Care Responsibilities:

- Apply amniotic allografts in person to patients at various facilities 
- Document thoroughly on all conversations/prescriptions for remote work
- Document thoroughly on all wound grafts placed
- Prescribe Care Plans and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) to patients in program
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families about their Care Plan
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting with at least 6 months experience in Wound Care
- Proficiency in acute Wound Care management
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes to ensure smooth transitions of care for patients
- Familiarity with medical records standards and documentation requirements
- Experience in sterile processing techniques to maintain infection control protocols
- Specialized experience in senior care, dermatology, Wound Care, hospice palliative medicine, esthetic laser treatment, workers compensation law, or psychopharmacology is a plus

Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida and CA. (Florida only is okay to start. Be prepared to receive licensure in CA)
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make independent decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
