Team mission
Our mission is to help deliver an unforgettable employee experience for our GetYourGuide employees based in the Americas. It's an exciting opportunity to be our first Workplace Experience Specialist in the Americas to support the growing employee base there. You will help ensure our teams feel connected regardless of where they work from. Based in New York, you will be an integral member of our Workplace Experience Team, collaborating closely with counterparts in Berlin and Zurich as well as liaising with our IT, People Operations, & Workplace Operations teams. You will be the experienced team member who organizes and supports everything related to the offices, employee perks, and events.
You'll play a key role in bringing our culture to life and make sure GetYourGuide is a great place to work and a welcoming place to visit.
You will:
- Deliver amazing employee experiences, providing the best possible support to our New York office and our teams across the Americas
- Curate, drive, and promote a feeling of community in line with our company culture
- Coordinate aspects of daily office and administration duties such as front desk, purchasing, catering, etc
- Support the Americas teams in the planning of offsites and team-building events
- Own HR Operations for the US (onboarding, offboarding, employee relations)
- Manage our Benefits Program (prepare and run open enrollment and benefits administration)
- Ensure compliance of Health and Safety regulations and security standards
- Embrace and promote our company's cultural values, actively participating in our feedback-driven environment to foster personal and professional growth for yourself and your colleagues alike.
Who you are
- 3+ Years of experience in workplace management or similar service areas such as Hospitality or Office Management.
- Experience with, or exposure to, HR Operations (Benefits Admin, Employee Relations)
- Excellent written and verbal communication including articulating information effectively to individuals across all levels, including C-suite and external guests.
- Strong personal commitment to quality and customer service, with an eye for details
- Highly self-motivated and able to perform autonomously as your manager is based in Berlin
- Proactive, able to perform multiple tasks, always seek areas of opportunity for improvement, and meet deadlines without losing track of your goals
- A results-oriented mindset with a strong bias for action, even in ambiguous situations
- Experience with project and events management
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations

The reasonably estimated salary for this role is $93,000 - $97,000. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
