Truck equipment company looking for a full-time Working Foreman. Job duties would be managing and work with the truck upfit installers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage and monitor all aspects of each truck build.
- Make sure all truck builds are on schedule and under time allotted.
- Perform Quality Control Inspections on all completed vehicles to ensure Company Standards are met.
- Check-in new trucks in a timely manner to maintain workflow.
- Meet daily with the Manager to discuss shop updates and needs.
- Collect and enter employee time sheets to ensure accurate build times are captured.
- Conduct weekly Huddle meetings with staff to address builder needs and alert employees of any necessary information.
- Weekly inventory checks to ensure parts are fully stocked to prevent shop slowdowns.
- Fabricate parts to assist builders in maintaining efficiency targets.
- Assist builders when required.
- Ability to perform occasional service/repair jobs as needed.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics/wiring preferred.
- CDL A preferred.
· Competent in basic shop math.
· Modify and prepare chassis per production order.
· Modify and install wiring and electrical components.
· Modify and install hydraulic components.
· Install plows, dump bodies and salt spreaders.
· Work safely and use all required PPE.

Salary: $ 24.00 – $30.00 per hour
Experience level:
- 5 years
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Welding: 3 year (Preferred)
- Hand tools: 5 year (Required)
- Mechanic experience: 5 year (Required)
