SUMMARY OF POSITION 

Kinsley is actively recruiting full-time Industrial Electricians for both foreman and journeymen positions. The job entails working in diverse industrial and manufacturing settings, with tasks ranging from machinery relocation and complete facility relocations to plant maintenance and renovations, installation of dust collection systems, and upgrades to water/wastewater treatment systems.


Successful candidates will be stationed at Kinsley's Field Operations office in York, PA, while also being required to travel within the mid-Atlantic region for project assignments. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, improve process efficiencies, and ensure machine reliability.
  • Conduct failure analyses and contribute to the development of new control systems, as well as modifications to existing systems.
  • Actively participate in project activities related to controls/electrical design and equipment integration.
  • Execute various electrical tasks, including rough-ins, pipe bending, wire pulling, and electrical terminations.
  • Handle the installation or relocation of transformers and electrical switchgear/equipment.
  • Undertake maintenance and repair activities for existing electrical systems.
  • Perform low voltage wiring tasks as required.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Prioritize and uphold a commitment to working safely, utilizing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and adhering to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Contribute to the implementation of safety methods and practices within the work environment.


REQUIREMENTS 

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; additional secondary education is appreciated and will be factored into the determination of the pay scale.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Proficiency in comprehending construction drawings is essential.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License is a requirement.
  • Familiarity with or a willingness to learn and adhere to OSHA and MSHA safety regulations is crucial.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E standards.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, encompassing both power and controls.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and diagnostics on various systems is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills are fundamental.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude for daily customer interaction.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to multitask effectively in a high-speed environment.
  • Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Comfort and experience working at heights.
  • Willingness to learn and/or assist in mechanical trades.
  • Flexibility to work some weekends as needed.
