Factory ZERO is our first, all-electric automotive assembly plant and the blueprint of General Motors' electric future! We have a corporate vision of “Zero crashes, Zero emissions, Zero congestion.” Our most novel products like the Hummer EV and our very first autonomous vehicle, Cruise Origin will be assembled right in this facility. The Role:
As a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Analyst, you will be a member of the Supply Chain team, responsible for support in one of the key areas: manufacturing/warehouse operations, supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling and material management. You will act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support. This position communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers. This will require outstanding oral and written communications skills, high level of Problem Solving, analytical ability where problems are complex, and interpersonal skills to work in a cross functional environment to achieve results and drive the Business Transformation.
What You’ll Do:
- Retrieve and analyze data from various system reporting tools
- Inventory Level Monitoring, Data & Metrics analysis in MGO, EPS, PPS & WMS
- Maintain various material application system settings
- Monitor discrepancies of standard pack of physical inventory vs system and update in various applications
- Configuration of new items within WMS and maintain based on WMS rules
- Aid in Obsolete Material Management and Engineering Change Break Points
- Place Quality locks into WMS to attain ESEP requirements
- Ensure label compliance with suppliers and recall LPNs
- Location/part/user setup and maintenance of items
- Canceled Items analysis
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Must be willing to work an off shift (2nd or 3rd Shifts)
- 1+ years of GSC experience on a Plant Floor
- Previous experience with Supply Chain and Lean Materials Processes: Logistics, Receiving, Internal Materials Flow, LMS Kitting/Sequencing, Scrap and Obsolete Processes
- High functional capability with GSC floor systems: MGO, EPS, PPS;
- Proficient in Excel and Access for Reporting and database development purposes
What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering
- Leadership/Management/Supervisory experience preferred
- Multi-plant and/or functional experience preferred
- Prior experience with a Warehouse Management System (ideally with Manhattan Associate WMOS)
