Position Overview:

As the Winery Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, leading a team dedicated to delivering exceptional tasting experiences. This hands-on role encompasses various responsibilities, from conducting tastings to overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring seamless customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly manage tasting room employees to create a professional and welcoming environment.
• Conduct tastings, oversee front and back of house operations, and ensure high-quality service standards.
• Hire, train, and mentor tasting room staff, fostering a positive and motivated team atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the winemaker to attract and retain customers, contributing to our business's growth.
• Manage inventory, utilize POS systems effectively, and coordinate reservation management.
• Oversee safety, cleanliness, and organization of the tasting room to uphold our brand standards.
• Monitor sales, process shipments, and coordinate social media updates in collaboration with other departments.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of Tasting Room/Hospitality management experience or equivalent.
• Passion for wine with a willingness to expand knowledge of different wines and styles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems such as Lightspeed and Tock preferred.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• WSET/CMS training or previous wine education is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
