Wine & Spirits Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Wine Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Wine Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the perfect wine for their needs, recommending food pairings, providing information about the various wine regions, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of different types of wines, including their origin, production, and taste, as well as experience in Retail Sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist customers in selecting wines based on their preferences and needs
• Provide information about different types of wines, including origin, production, and taste
• Recommend food pairings to enhance customers' wine experience
• Conduct inventory management, including restocking shelves and maintaining wine inventory levels
• Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card transactions
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Participate in wine tastings and educational events

Requirements:

• Minimum of 0 years of experience in Retail Sales and customer service
• A an understanding of different types of wines & Spirits, including origin, production, and taste
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sales skills and ability to meet sales targets
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash and credit card transactions
• Ability to work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.35 per hour
