Wine Club Program Director & Hospitality Concierge:
This leadership role is designed for a multi-talented wine enthusiast, who is strategic and detail oriented. The focus of this role is to increase our club growth, visitation, loyalty, and overall effectiveness of the Proprietor Wine Club Program. As the Director of the Wine Club, being organized and creative impacts our wine sales in daily/incremental, quarterly/targets and annual/growth ways. Adding the right person to our small team to manage “all things Wine Club” and to be active on the floor in the tasting room with our guests and members during events and Saturdays.
Description:
This position is responsible for Wine Club Program & Hospitality Concierge and aligned with the vision of the business. This position also is key in creating the warm hospitality and maintaining the experience brand/standards in the tasting room, member spaces and experiences. Hospitality, sales, and teamwork are the primary focuses of this role.
The key duties are:
Sales & Marketing: Selling, communicating, educating and marketing our Wine Club membership, wines, farm products and Hopland hospitality stays to grow Campovida
Program Leadership: Managing our Wine Club Program
Team Partnership: Working seamlessly with the Tasting Room Director, and Event Team Leaders
Wine Club Growth & Loyalty: Planning, coordinating and successfully executing Wine Club shipments from beginning to end; Maintaining, updating and growing the Wine Club members and sustaining their loyalty.
Hospitality & Guest Experience: Planning, executing, and overseeing all Wine Club events and monthly activities/promotions with the Tasting Room team.
Responsibilities
- Wine Club:
Focus on creative growth of Wine Club.
Coordinate Wine Club shipments - Update invalid credit cards and account information prior to shipment, run club shipment and coordinate newsletter, handle customer special requests, coordinate wine transfer for shipment and tasting room. Organize shipments with team and follow up on shipping issues, tracking & returned packages, account for all wine returned to inventory
Wine Direct - Database management for Wine Club - Includes daily database use: new customer entry, changes to account information, cancellations, will call pickups.
- Ongoing Sales:
Leader/sales contact on all daily phone, text, and email orders along with responding to members and website/tasting room customers.
- Seasonal & Monthly Wine Club events:
Plan & execute all Put together every aspect of the event including invitations, rentals, caterer, staffing, decorations, etc.
Attend all WC functions.
Arrange for winemaker and owner participation at events, if appropriate
- Marketing Support
Develop draft copy for Wine Club email blasts, correspondence, invitations, etc. as needed for added sales, member stays and promotions.
Concierge - High-Touch Treatment for Wine Club
Greet Wine Club members in the tasting room when possible, send out welcome note to all new members, set up and conduct special tastings for VIP members
Promote members stays through marketing efforts and direct contact.
Create personal touches for member stays. Arrange for tastings, dinner reservations and prep rooms for member stays
- Club and Brand Management
Generate monthly and annual club member reports including growth/retention report, and highest grossing buyers
Evaluate opportunities for new club events, marketing opportunities and campaigns in concert with the Tasting Room Manager
Oversee the completion of all forms and submissions for initiatives and allocate wine for and deliver wines to competitions
Pour wine at high-profile events
Collect and respond to all customer complaints and monitor online customer forum
- Outreach & Sales Development:
Partner with Northern California restaurants, hotels and other key event venues for placement and customer referrals.
Collaborate and coordinate with National Sales Director of our Luminous and Campovida to support overall sales strategies.
- Various Other duties:
Keep tasting room staff informed, and report on Wine Club incentive program.
Support tasting room staff daily when needed (lunch breaks, etc.)
Approximate Back-office duties: 60%; Approximate Tasting room duties: 40%. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on seasonal nature of the role.

Work Environment
Most job duties will be performed in the office and tasting room area. Special events may require travel to additional locations.
