Job role and responsibilities:
• Experience working knowledge installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server Operating Systems
• Experience in server engineering or server support.
• Manage system performance, reliability and availability to service level agreements.
• Experience troubleshooting server hardware platforms: Example: Cisco UCS, HP ProLiant
• Working knowledge of adjacent infrastructure technologies including Networking, TCPIP, Ethernet, EMC Storage, Active Directory, and SCCM
• Strong understanding of SAN and NAS, including experience with file share support and migrations
• Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Server automation procedures and methods
• Provide Tier III Administering Windows Server environments including configuring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in both DNS/DHCP and Windows Server environment.
• Windows Server, Windows Cluster Deployments, and upgrades
• Collaborate with external groups, as required; Develop, architect, recommend, and implement enterprise hardware and software solutions.
• Support Active Directory infrastructure.
