Ticket Boat, Inc is one of the country’s largest secondary market ticket sellers and commodities traders. Ticket Boat is seeking a Windows Network Adminto join the team in Mission, KS. Under the general direction of the Sr. Director, Strategic Initiatives, the Windows Network Admin is responsible for the support and maintenance of IT equipment and systems and additional responsibilities as handed out by the Sr. Director. This position is an in-office position to allow the hands-on support needed by the company. This position will also be expected to learn about the industry it is supporting as well to help provide understanding as to priorities and goals and allow better input as to solutions.
- Manages the Help Desk staff and organizes training
- Manages firewall
- Setting up and maintaining VMs, on premise, in a local facility or AWS
- Manages Group Policy to define user, security and networking policies at the machine level
- Determines methods to circumvent site blocks using different IPs
- Installs, updates, maintains software on desktops and servers, to facilitate troubleshooting and network diagnostics
- Manage the set up, support, and maintain office and server and desktop equipment, Active Directory, and networks
- Maintains backups of servers
- Manages phone hardware
- Functions as backup and support Help Desk staff when needed
- Responsible for oversight of keeping all personal areas and all commons areas clean and organized with good cabling, machines, printing, and other technical areas
- Identify and report any safety hazards immediately
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Education/Experience:
- College Degree or Technical Trade School
3 years experience maintaining systems
Skills:
- Windows Server - AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, PowerShell
- VMware vSphere - ESXi, vCenter, clustering, storage, networking
- Networking - LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs
- Monitoring - SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, log analysis
- Backup - Veeam, backup methodologies and strategies
- Active Directory - Users, groups, OUs, federation services
- PowerShell - Scripting, automation, Desired State Configuration
- Windows desktop/server - Installation, patching, image deployment
- Ability to communicate clearly over telephone, via email and in person.

Special Requirements:
- Regular and predictable attendance is required in the Mission, KS office
- Ability to move about the facility freely, including crawling under workstations and in other tight locations to connect computers and peripherals.
- Acute sight and hearing required
- Ability to move 20 pounds on a regular basis, occasionally move up to 50 pounds
