Job Description
- 1-5 years of experience supporting a salesperson or sales team in the selling of consumer goods to retail accounts.
- Experience working with apparel, home, soft accessories, or related categories.
- Must be detail-oriented and have superior organization skills.
- Strong communication and organization skills to handle a lot of interaction with brands, retailers, internal design and production teams.
- Detail-oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and self-starting, with an ability to prioritize their own workload.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic software skills
- BA/BFA in Fashion Buying or Merchandising a plus
- Must be willing to go into the office 5 days/week.
- Assists Sales Account Executives with sales driving initiatives and customer correspondence.
- Supports other internal teams, including Production, Design, Visuals and Marketing.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings with customers.
- Assists in market preparation, showroom set-up.
- Supports customer service opportunities and questions.
- Create PowerPoint and Excel presentations to be used in customer meetings.
- Comp shops stores to report setup and store layout.
- Administrative tasks including product set up, order writing and photography requirements and specifications. Upload data to customer portals.
- Manages shipments of samples.
- Sales reporting analysis.
