SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Wholesale Inside Sales Account Executive is responsible for soliciting, building, and maintaining strong relationships with mortgage brokers, mortgage bankers (and any other potential mortgage entity customer), representing Gold Star Wholesale, to sell into the wholesale and mini-correspondent mortgage origination channel within an assigned territory. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
PRIMARY POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prospecting and developing mortgage broker client relationships
• Solicits new customers for approval to conduct business in Wholesale or Mini-Corr origination channel.
• Presents loan products, pricing, point of contacts, and communicate proper business flow to prospective and existing customers.
• Trains mortgage brokers and banker partners on loan submission and fulfillment process.
• Manages customer performance, engaging the customer and providing top notch customer service.
• Develop and increase account relationships to drive increased market share and sales opportunities
• Delivering up-to-the-minute information about the latest products, resources, and industry updates to ensure all loan files are complete and within guidelines
• Identify and maintain daily contact with sources of mortgage loan production (brokers) to ensure smooth flow of loan applications through the loan process.
• Answer client questions and respond to loan status, underwriting, processing, and closing inquiries.
• Manages loan pipeline and achieving assigned production and new broker client goals
• Ensure compliance deadlines are met
• Complete other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Positive Attitude, ability to multitask, willingness to learn and ability to adapt to on-going changes
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are essential along with strong presentation skills
• Works effectively in a fast-paced environment with little room for error
• One year of proven and progressive wholesale mortgage lending experience required or equivalent
• Well-developed understanding of mortgage sales, processing, underwriting, and closing procedures
• Fair knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal lending laws a plus
• Works effectively in a team environment
• High level of energy and self-motivation
• Courage to always push outside your comfort zone and be disciplined to take sales action even in the face of rejection
• Top phone skills required with ability to articulate delivery and build relationships quickly
• Willingness to accept new ideas, concepts, processes, and technology
• Current producing client base is strongly desired
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Undergraduate Degree or Equivalent Experience
• 2+ years of Mortgage Experience and/or 2+ years of Sales Experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT
The environment is characteristic of a hybrid work schedule. Some travel is required. Must be able to execute complex tasks on time sensitive transactions and be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

• $40,000 Annual
• Bonus/Commission percentage based off funded volume for accounts the Wholesale Account Executive is responsible for
