In this role, you will play a crucial part in growing our customer base, expanding sales, and promoting our innovative products and services within key markets. ABOUT THE JOB

SUMMARY

The Western Account Manager is responsible for servicing existing accounts, increasing sales, and establishing new accounts within markets that ITC provides products and services to. This position will work closely with the Specialty Vehicle & West Coast RV Business Manager to meet individual and company-defined goals and is an active participant in new product launches.


Position based within one of the following states: California, Oregon, Idaho, or Washington and within one hour of a mid/major airport.


CORE DUTIES

  • Become an expert with ITC products and capabilities.
  • Communicate ITC’s custom capabilities to create customer specific products.
  • Responsible for organizing daily work schedule to care for and call on existing and new potential sales channels.
  • Develop relationships with existing customers to properly represent their existing and/or new product needs to ITC.
  • Find and identify new prospective customers using self-initiated research, existing customer relationships, and market networking opportunities.
  • Prepare sales presentations or proposals to demonstrate how ITC products and services may meet customer needs.
  • Initialize and manage customer driven new product launches using the communication processes in place at ITC.
  • Document sales activities and generate periodic sales reports to present to the ITC teams.
  • Responsible for obtaining product need forecasting information from customers and reporting potential losses and gains using CRM software and sharing such information with the purchasing team.
  • Facilitate communications between the customer and the customer care team in the process of providing quotes and samples to the assigned customer base.
  • Assist customers with quality, accounting, or shipping concerns directly or by facilitating communications between customer and the proper ITC department.
  • Participate in customer events and industry trade shows as needed.
  • Travel to the ITC Hudsonville, MI., or Elkhart, IN. locations for initial onboarding and training and 2-3 times a year thereafter, as needed.
  • Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
  • Other duties as required.

COMPENSATION


In addition to the benefits listed above, this position will be eligible for commission, placement, year over year, and performance incentive bonuses.


Salary ranges by state are as follows:


California: $150,000 - $200,000 annually

Idaho: $130,000 - $160,000 annually

Oregon: $130,000 - $160,000 annually

Washington: $140,000 - $180,000 annually

Requirements:
JOB DESIRABLES AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant B2B sales and industry experience; or equivalent combined education and on the job experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with follow up and closing, territory management, prospecting, negotiation, product knowledge, and building strong customer relationships.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with multiple manufacturing processes, LED lighting, and low voltage/power solutions preferred.
  • Comfortable in technical conversations and communicating effectively with design and manufacturing engineers.
  • Communicating effectively in writing and verbally as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Creative and energetic with strong internal motivation to succeed and win.
  • Excellent computer skills and highly adaptable to learning new software applications including video communications and CRM. Preferably Microsoft Office products, TEAMs, Syteline, MITS, and other communication and productivity technologies.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.
