Multimatic Michigan is responsible for manufacturing fully engineered, high quality components and assemblies for high-volume vehicle manufacturers. Multimatic Michigan uses advanced proprietary manufacturing processes.
Multimatic Michigan is currently looking for an Accounting Manager who will assist the Divisional Controller in all aspects of financial/accounting related matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Perform and responsible for A/P, A/R accounting duties
* Perform and responsible for all types of financial analysis (ie. PPV and inventory analysis)
* Assist with month-end closing including preparing and posting accrual journal entries
* Assist with monthly financial statements and reports
* Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliation
* Communicate with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters
* Assist with weekly flash, quarterly forecast and annual budget
* Assist with annual audit package
* Additional duties as assigned
* Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable
* Supervision of Reception/Admin. employee
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Divisional Controller
* Works in compliance with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards
* Will work in compliance with all legislative requirements of MIOSHA
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 3 years bookkeeping, data entry, and invoicing experience
* Completion of a university degree or college diploma in accounting or business administration
* Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
* Automotive industry experience is an asset
* SAP experience is an asset
* Excellent English communications skills both written and verbal.
* Self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
* Able to successfully interact with all levels of employees in the organization
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Role will be on-site in Jackson Michigan
