Description
Tutors will provide mathematics instruction and assessment for eligible Title I students, as well as collaborate with teachers and administrators regarding Title I programming to ensure student success.
Responsibilities
- Instruct individual and small groups of students in literacy and mathematics.
- Conducts assessment and maintains instructional data for Title 1 students.
- Participates in parent Title I engagement and meetings.
Qualifications
Demonstrates effective collaboration, communication, and organization skills.
Certified Teacher required: MA DESE Elementary License for Grades 1-6 or MA DESE Middle School License.
Supplemental Information
Direct service to students at the tutor rate $45.04/hr with up to two hours of weekly planning time at $35/hr.
Reports to: Building Principal, Title I Administrator, Grants Administrator and Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.
The duration of this position runs from approximately 9/18/23 - 6/7/24.
This position is contingent upon Title I grant funding for the 2023-2024 academic year. Continued employment is dependent on annual renewal of Title I funding.
