NATURE OF WORK
To perform in-home personal care, blood pressure checks, schedule health screenings, and other duties to promote healthy lifestyles for the participants. Work involves assisting the Executive Director and Management Team in the administration of health related issues and activities in accordance with funding guidelines and agency direction. Plan activities for the center participants.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for checking blood pressures as requested by participants both in
home and within the agency.
- Responsible for Blood Pressure Clinics held in various locations throughout the county and also those Clinics as part of on-going programs held monthly in area satellite meetings.
- Responsible for seeking new locations to administer monthly Blood Pressure Clinics or special community activities in which a Blood Pressure Clinic would be appropriate.
- Responsible for mandated reporting as per funding guidelines.
- Responsible for advocacy for senior citizens and public relations for Marion County Senior Citizens, Inc., representing the elderly in a most professional manner.
- Attend required trainings as per funding assurances.
- Assist with all other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or
the Management Team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
