This Welding Assistant position requires candidates to:
· Weld temporary tabs onto steel work piece
· Use 7 inch handheld grinder to clean up and prep steel work piece for crushed tungsten carbide application
· Measure and mark out the area on steel work piece for crushed tungsten carbide application
· Operate chop saw
· Operate sit-down forklift to move work product
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this Welding Assistant position:
· 6 months – 1 year MIG Welding experience
· 1 Year Forklift Operations
· Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to accurately read a tape measure
The starting pay rate for this Welding Assistant position is $21.00 per hour, plus overtime as needed.
