Location: St. Louis, MO Job Status: Full-Time/Non-exempt

Salary from $30 based on experience

This role works Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts.

This position requires a passionate individual who demonstrates initiative, takes ownership for project work, and exhibits a high level of personal leadership, conviction and spirit of innovation. This is a shop Craftsman position. At EPIC, we build highly integrated process skids for industry. We are looking for a craftsman who not only can weld, but can layout and build complicated process equipment on a small team. As a Craftsman at EPIC, you will have a high degree of ownership in everything you build. We pride ourselves on our quality of work and teamwork. The following skills and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Skills, Knowledge and Responsibilities:

· ASME and AWS welding procedures

· Pipe Welding

· Structural Steel Welding

· P&ID Reading

· Shop Drawing Reading

· Pipe Spool Isometric Reading

· Working with 3D models

· ANSI Weld Symbols

· Pipe Fitting Take-off Dimensions

· Pipe Spool Cut-list Calculation

· Structural Steel Cut-list calculation

· GTAW and FCAW Pipe Welding (carbon and stainless steel)

· Orbital Welding (Stainless Steel Tubing)

· Pipe Threading

· General Mechanical Skills

· Square and Level Structural Framework and Piping

Desired Qualifications and Duties:

· 4+ years’ experience

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment on fast-track projects

· Self-directed and forward thinking

· Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills

· Strong work ethic

· Ability to learn hands-on

· Attention to detail

· Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally

· Ability to represent EPIC in a professional, ethical and socially responsible manner

· Ability to perform various roles and responsibilities from day to day. Including, but not limited to fitting, welding, material handling and cutting, testing, grinding/polishing, equipment installation, etc.

· Equally respectful of others, regardless of their position

· Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with varying scope and effectively prioritize workload to ensure deliverables are met
