Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Use various welding techniques such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) to join metal pieces together
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and other technical documents
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a fabricator/welder or in a similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and working with different types of metals
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with machining processes and use of power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Knowledge of crane operation and rigging is a plus
Skills:
- Proficient in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, stick welding, and soldering
- Ability to operate power tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
