We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for reading shop drawings, operating welding equipment, and fabricating metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, as well as proficiency in blueprint reading and basic math skills.
Duties:
- Read and interpret shop drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of metal components
- Operate welding equipment to join metal parts together
- Fabricate metal components using various tools and machinery
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
Experience:
- Previous experience in welding and fabrication
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of different welding techniques and equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience operating a forklift or crane is a plus
