The Welder welds and sets up and operates the welding machine. This includes reviewing the drawings for welding specification and manufacturing jigs.
Essential Job Responsibilities not limited to:
- Reviews and verifies sales and work orders to jobs
- Reviews drawings for welding specifications
- Ensures materials are correct per work order
- Sets up heat and wire speed and operates welding machines
- Welds parts
- Check first piece of inspection and run production
- Grind and remove all splatter from welded areas
- Sign off on operations
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of Welding Experience a must
- Familiarly with welding machine and power tools
- Ability to operate overhead crane and forklift
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Basic math knowledge which includes the use of measuring tools
