Job Description
- Program Karbar and Cloos welding robots, operate and maintain cell and Robot for PM and productions.
- Rework robot parts and suggest best welding practice for efficient and quality robot weld programs.
- Read blueprints and drawings for fabricating the parts.
- Able to convert decimal to fractions and vise versa. Use tape measurement.
- Prepare and perform the initial inspection of the product.
- Complete the final assembly of the product.
- Complete final inspection of the product.
- Ensure that final product is free from defects and that final product meets specifications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain a safe work environment and participate in site safety activities and other required company projects.
- Follow all safety rules, guidelines, procedures, laws, and regulations at all times.
- Use proper hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment when necessary.
- Maintain an understanding of basic math concepts and how to read blueprints.
- Participate in daily production activities including quality checks and record keeping.

- Must be able to set current, voltage and synchronize feeds of wire with speed of welding action. Start equipment and observe welding action.
- Perform duties to layout, tack, and arc weld metal parts for mechanical strength on assemblies and product.
- Work from specifications, Drawings- prints, and instructions. Maintain inventory, determine needs, and requisition the replenishment of depleted stock in preparation for welding operations.
- Welding Robot Experience is required– operate, program, and troubleshoot (Experience on Cloos and Yaskawa Robot preferred)
- Set weld parameter files on welding robots. Perform maintenance on robots.
- Must be able to read drawings/blueprints.
- Must be able to follow instructions/tasks without mistakes.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
- Must be able to convert Fractions to Decimals and Decimals to Fractions
- Must be able to follow all safety rules, guidelines, procedures, laws, and regulations at all times.
- Must be able to use proper hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment when necessary. Use square, tape, grinder, hand torch, saw, drill, hand tools, forklift truck, and hoist.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time such as while welding/cutting metal or performing other physical activities such as lifting, bending, climbing etc..
- Must be able to follow oral instructions perfectly even if the instructions may contain errors due to mistakes or typos.
- Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time (8 hours or more), climb ladders (1-12 feet) without assistance, and sit for long periods of time (8 hours or more).
- Candidates with 5+ years of operating any type of fanuc controlled robotic welders with an ability and willingness to learn how to program these specific machines may be considered for this position.
