Fabricator/Welder
Duties:
- Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment, including press brake machines, power tools, CNC burn table and cranes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate and assemble metal components.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Cut, shape, and bend metal using power tools and machinery.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of MIG welding with spray arc and have TIG welding experience.
- Strong knowledge of power tools and their safe operation.
- Must be able to assemble / tack together metal details from print data to hold required tolerances.
- Experience operating cranes for lifting heavy materials.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Must be able to read and interpret CAD and technical drawings.
- Experience in machining processes and press brake is a plus.
