Productive Resources ( ) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Valley City, North Dakota. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, and perform Manufacturing Engineering work for a project or process. Operate in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process. At this level, projects are of moderate scope and responsibility or may be a significant portion of a major and diverse project or process; decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel, contractors, and suppliers.

Duties:
- Lead team studies related to capacity, productivity & efficiency.
- Identify & implement Continuous Improvement (CI) projects (ie: cost reduction, quality, safety & product delivery).
- Establish part routings, proper operating methods, documentation such as mechanical data sheets, sequence of events, layouts, tool conception and design, part and equipment costs, quality plans and labor standards.
- Program and troubleshoot robotic welding.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of manufacturing weld processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities.
- Knowledge of capital budgeting and equipment justification.
- Experience in project management and business planning; small strategic projects or large tactical projects.
- Experience in repetitive manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
- Quality Production System.
- Manufacturing experience 2-3 years.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Creo.
- Proficient with standard Office apps, most notably Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a welding environment.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting robotic welding.
