Welcome Desk Associate, Part Time, Year-round position

Hours: Up to 20 hours per week: Monday and Tuesday Opening shift 5AM-9:15AM, 4-6 hour shifts available with flexibility to accommodate sick time and vacation needs especially on holidays and weekends
On call as needed all shifts, including weekends

Welcome Desk Associate Responsibilities

Greet every person as they enter the Worcester JCC

Member/Guest Check-in

Answering phones

Child drop-off/pick-up process

Assist Membership staff

Processing Payments for membership and program registration

Membership IDs

Other tasks may be assigned

Report to Membership Director

Must pass employment background check (SORI/CORI)

Must arrive for work and be ready to assist customers at the start of each shift
Professional attire and attitude are required
Proficient in use of computer programs and systems
Provide outstanding customer service in all situations
Reconcile and batch out in a timely manner at the completion of each shift
Excellent ambassador for the JCC brand both on JCC property and in the community
Strong working knowledge of JCC programs and classes in order to benefit the customer and staff
Be open to coaching and feedback opportunities for growth

For Applicant’s Consideration:

The JCC offers Babysitting service Monday-Saturday 8am-12pm. We have a current need for a Saturday babysitter as well as on-call sub for weekdays. To supplement position with this role, please express your interest during application process.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: 4-6 hour shifts available during day and evening hours

Applicants must agree to SORI and CORI background checks

Education: Associate degree (preferred) or higher

Experience: Customer service: Minimum 1 year (preferred)
