Weekend Security Officer- First Shift

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm

Job Summary: USI is seeking high level Security Officers for a corporate office complex. Job Duties may include performing security patrols of designated areas by foot, observing for any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards, maintaining access control of premises and monitoring entrances and exits. Attending to the front desk, and greeting customers. Security Officers provide high level of customer service and assistance to clients, client employees and visitors in a polite and professional manner.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous Security Experience preferred
• Exceptional Customer Service
• Proficient with technology and using multiple software and applications
• Customer service experience or concierge experience required
• Ability to type quickly to process visitors and employees efficiently.
• Speak clearly and concisely
• Clean driving record
• Ability to keep a neat and organized workstation
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to conduct foot patrols frequently

Responsibilities include:

• Patrol buildings and grounds, identify unsafe conditions and improperly secured areas/property to help prevent theft, injuries or damages.
• Provide a high level of customer service by interacting with patients, visitors and staff in a professional manner that is proactive, friendly and helpful; create safety awareness among the hospital community.
• Clearly communicate self-monitoring questions to patients and visitors entering the facilities.
• Track and submit data based on number of patients and visitors.
• Take temperatures of individuals entering the facility using an infrared thermometer.
• Projects a positive image in dress and decorum.
• Maintains regular, consistent attendance record.
• Knowledgeable of and adhere to all rules and regulations, policies, and orders.
• Interacts with guests and employees in a professional manner.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Position requires excellent verbal & written communication skills. Must have the ability to develop and write business plans, memos, spreadsheets, graphs & charts for business purposes.
• Must be proficient in training and leading managers and field personnel to accomplish all assigned duties.
• Must have experience in conducting investigations and providing detailed case reports.
• Excellent computer skills with high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computerized payroll & billing programs.
• Must be focused on the Company’s core values and business objectives.
• Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.
• Must be able to multi-task and self-manage in a dynamic environment.
• Must be knowledgeable of all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective relationships with all levels of the company and client organizations.
