Form of workNelson 8 is an acute medical and telemetry unit with 23 inpatient beds focused on patients with respiratory, cardiac and heart failure illness, liver and renal disease, substance abuse and mental status changes, along with a variety of other diagnoses. "Nelson 8 is committed to providing a comforting and encouraging environment to all who arrive onto this unit. We integrate the art and science of nursing, clinical knowledge, quality care, teamwork and leadership to implement a collaborative approach to patient care. Requirements:
- Weekend option can be 24 hours or 36 hours day shifts
- BLS and active license at time of hire
- Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program may be considered provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years
