Job Title: Weekend Manager - Coffee and Breakfast Cafe

Location: Jersey City, NJ 

Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday)

Job Type: Part-time

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Weekend Manager to join our team. As the Weekend Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing operations during our busy weekend hours, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for both customers and staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

   • Supervise and motivate weekend staff to maintain high levels of customer service.
   • Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
   • Provide guidance and support to team members.

2. Customer Service:

   • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
   • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
   • Ensure that service standards are consistently met or exceeded.

3. Operational Management:

   • Open and close the cafe during weekend shifts.
   • Manage inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
   • Ensure cleanliness and organization in the cafe, including restrooms and dining areas.

4. Quality Control:

   • Monitor food and beverage quality to uphold our standards.
   • Oversee the presentation of dishes and drinks to ensure they meet our aesthetic standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food and beverage industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and Breakfast food preparation.

Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays, approximately 15 hours per week.
• Additional hours may be available based on business needs.
