We are hiring a Maintenance Technicianto help maintain the facilities/utilities that produces our delicious Libby's Vienna Sausages, VanCamps Baked Beans, Healthy Choice Soups, Hunt's Manwich, Hunt's Spaghetti Sauces and so much more… at our Archbold, OH manufacturing facility. You will report to a Maintenance Lead and Shift Supervisor and join a team of 500 at our plant including over 50 maintenance members.
Shift: This role is 1st Shift, approx. 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Friday - Sunday)
Location: 901 Stryker St., Archbold, OH 43502 (You will work onsite at a production facility #LI-Onsite)
Hourly Rate: $22.34-30.99 an hour depending on experience
What Impact Will You Have On Our Business?
You will ensure the plant machines are maintained operational and identify repairs.
You will set up and adjust machinery, equipment, parts, vehicles or structions daily.
You will be assisting in working on preventative maintenance on machinery.
You will manage your own workload, and ensure directions of supervison are understood and accomplished.
You will plan alternate activities to maximize opportunity and take advantage of the unscheduled downtime or work delays.
You will plan proper operational repair work sequences and minimize production delays.
You will order overhaul and spare parts.
You will troubleshoot to repair and install electrical/mechanical equipment
You will troubleshoot, hand repair manufacturing equipment including but not limited to: Allen Pradley PLC's, Frequency Drives, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Servo Motors, Refrigeration Systems (NH3), Boiler systems, and HVAC systems.
Do You Have What It Takes:
At least 3 years' maintenance experience in an industrial setting preferably in the food industry.
