Sales
1. Client Acquisition and Outreach:
1. Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online platforms.
2. Sales Presentations: Conduct venue tours and presentations to showcase facilities, amenities, and capabilities to prospective clients.
2. Client Relationship Management:
1. Needs Assessment: Understand clients' requirements, preferences, and objectives for their events to tailor proposals and recommendations.
2. Proposal Development: Prepare detailed event proposals, including pricing, packages, and customization options based on client specifications.
3. Follow-ups: Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales process, addressing queries, providing updates, and nurturing relationships.
3. Booking and Contract Management:
1. Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure bookings while maximizing revenue and profitability.
2. Contract Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize event contracts, ensuring all terms, conditions, and obligations are clearly outlined and agreed upon.
3. Booking Confirmation: Confirm event bookings, collect deposits or payments as per venue policies, and manage reservation calendars to avoid conflicts or overlaps.
4. Market Analysis and Strategy:
1. Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to identify opportunities and challenges.
2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
3. Target Segmentation: Identify and prioritize target market segments, such as weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, etc., based on venue capabilities and market demand.
5. Collaboration and Coordination:
1. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with venue operations, marketing, and event coordination teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services.
2. Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to internal teams on client preferences, market trends, and competitive insights to continuously refine offerings and services.
6. Performance Metrics and Reporting:
1. Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets, quotas, and objectives established by management.
2. Sales Analytics: Monitor sales metrics, conversion rates, lead generation effectiveness, and revenue performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
3. Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
7. Accounting Assistance and Payment Processing:
1. Assist accounting by identifying client payments received via wire transfers, ACH, cash, and checks, and update invoices to reflect processed deposits for respective clients.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and/or walk for up to eight hours at a time; use hands to finger, wrists, arms, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in typical conditions of a tasting room to include hard flooring with uneven ground. May occasionally be exposed to wet floors. On the grounds, may encounter walking on grass, dirt, debris, uneven ground, vineyards, etc.
Pay & Commission:
· $20-22 per hour
· 2% commission on the gross revenue minus tax of all events sold
· 1% commission on the gross revenue minus tax if venue coordination is required
· Additional $150 of commission if as the venue coordinator your client leaves a 5 star review on either The Knot or Wedding Wire
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
