Wedding Sales And Event Specialist

Oakhaven Properties, LLC is a family-owned business that has a history dating back to the 1930’s. Most of the business was strictly farming practices. However, in 2012, Oakhaven opened the doors to hosting weddings and Events. We pride ourselves on being a venue that offers exceptional customer service and amenities while making all our guests feel comfortable.

Job Summary:

We are searching for a candidate who will engage with potential clients, distribute information and book weddings and Events. The candidate will also have knowledge of using social media as marketing platform.

Essential Duties:

• Expected to develop knowledge of and enforce Oakhaven’s policies and standards
• Facilitating site tours, explain literature, and selling weddings at Oakhaven or special events
• Interact with clients and ensuring their needs are being met
• Regularly reports to management progress and needs for potential sales
• Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data
• Assist with branding ideas and advertising copies
• Assist with online marketing websites such as Wedding Wire, The Knot, and others
• Help with social media platforms
• Help develop marketing campaigns to be discussed at management meetings
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through networking and media engagement

Qualifications:

• High School education required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two years experience in customer service, Sales and/or marketing preferred.
• Convey a professional image to clientele and partners at all times
• Computer skills with MS office, Facebook, Instagram, Zola, the Knot, Wedding Wire, and other platforms preferred
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Good communication and writing skills
