We are searching for a highly-qualified Website Marketing Lead who can take our website to the next level. The right candidate will have a strong background in Website Marketing/SEO, management, lead generation and development, all with a great understanding of the latest trends and technologies. Additionally, the Website Marketing Lead will be responsible for the management of projects and activities that ensure delivery of a high-performing website that presents compelling experiences to our prospective and current students.
Objectives of this role:
- Manage and own the strategy for the website.
- Align the website with the organization's brand, mission, and standards.
- Responsible for website and SEO analytics including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.
- Coordinate, manage and execute ongoing website development projects from a marketing perspective in partnership with internal resources and external agencies.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and various marketing stakeholders.
- Develop and manage Website/CMS (WordPress) governance & processes for the business plus marketing automation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide guidance on marketing-related aspects of the institution's web presence.
- Manage and own the strategy for the website as it pertains to marketing, SEO, UX/UI, information architecture, lead generation, and content management.
- Proactively coordinates with other marketing team members to ensure active promotions, initiatives and campaigns are represented on the website(s).
- Manages and collaborates with web design agency, development, IT and content staff to monitor and improve search engine optimization (SEO) results for the company's site(s).
- Responsible for web analytics including: Looker Studio, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Performs year-over-year and monthly goals and reporting.
- Utilizes all related/necessary tools including WordPress, Google products, heat mapping, etc.
- Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments in online marketing.
- Creates and enhances journeys for our persona's on the website that facilitate the achievement of web KPIs using insights from quantitative and qualitative behavioral data.
- Review and monitor the website daily to provide regular web quality assurance checks. Responding to and troubleshooting all website issues.
- Create strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.
- Conduct content audits to update and eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
- Ensure the website security, updates, back ups and ADA compliance is occurring and up-to-date with IT and agency support.
- Work with traffic coordinator on a daily/weekly basis to manage requests and update on project timelines.
- Specials projects/initiatives as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.
- Seven-plus years of work experience as a website manager.
- Expert knowledge of Macromedia suite, Adobe suite, Content Management Systems, and W3C Web standards.
- Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.
- Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
- Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent content creation and writing skills.
- Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Prior experience of working with a marketing automation platform.
- Self-driven and highly motivated.
Equity Eligible:
There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for hiring in US is $70K-$75K per year DOE.
