Web Designer I

This role will support our Protiviti Applications team. Robert Half is a cloud-first organization and wants you to jump right into a variety of projects involving designing websites using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. Get experience working in an agile environment where your contributions matter.

Highlights:

• You will have the opportunity to work with experienced software engineers while designing products that are user-friendly, effective, and appealing.
• Participate in user experience and design strategy meetings and project process meetings.
• Develop skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Use that tech to create business solutions and contribute to achieving project goals.
• Learn how emerging tech affects IT strategies and processes as we adopt new technologies.
• Participate in IT and cross-departmental projects — you will be directly involved in business outcomes.
• Specific tasks include:
  • Creating website mockups and story boards.
  • Meeting with the business owners to discuss requirements and/or project progress.
  • Developing web solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Creating products that are user-friendly, effective, and appealing.
  • Digital retouching and image editing.

What You Need:

• Have an undergraduate degree related to computer science, IT, information science, management information systems, or digital marketing.
• Experience with MS Office applications (or equivalent, such as Google Docs/Sheets).
• Familiarity with development languages (HTML, Javascript, CSS)
• Experience with web design tools like Adobo XD, Figma, or other similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid active listening and collaborative skills and ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
• Object oriented programming knowledge and basic programming concepts.
• Strong critical thinking and analysis skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.
