Job Description
We are hiring a Wealth Management Program Manager who directs the sales of Wealth Management, manages the day-to day operations, ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations and assists in the development of the Financial Advisors and Licensed Branch Employees (LBE’s). In addition, assists in all aspects of potential transactions; coordinates appropriate due diligence activities; attends meetings and collaborates with management teams in Retail Operations and SoCal Wealth Management.
Business Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30AM to 5:30PM*
*Based upon business needs, our positions may require working flexible hours, including weekends.

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant experience at the Program Manager level.
- 5+ years of people management.
- This role requires driving and must meet and maintain the following requirements:
- Hold a valid CA state driver’s license in good standing that is not actively suspended, revoked, or restricted.
- Have reliable personal transportation. Use of any means of public transportation or ridesharing services will not satisfy this requirement.
- Must maintain state liability auto insurance coverage with a minimum of 100/300/100 limits on the vehicle that will be used for work.
- Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Records (MVR).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with major coursework in business, finance or a field related to the work.
- FINRA registrations such as Series 7, 24, 66, etc. – active in good standing.
- California Life and Variable Contract licenses
- Client Account Management Systems, LPL (ClientWorks and/or MoneyGuide Pro.)
Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Investment and Trust products and services at financial institutions.
- Advance financial modeling, analysis and research in heavily transactional situations.
- Monitors best practices and establishes metrics related to developing, implementing, administering, reviewing and evaluating for a profitable business model.
- Employee supervision, including work planning, assignment review and evaluation.
- Developing and implementing goals, objectives, policies, procedures, work standards and internal controls.
- Knowledge of, or experience in business and sales development.
- Interpreting, applying and explaining laws and regulations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Formulates and recommends strategic business plan for achieving revenue and profitability targets for short and long-term business results.
- Develops, implements, and monitors progress in executing long-term plans and goals for achieving targeted business results.
- Coordinates and implements ongoing and periodic due diligence for current and potential transactions, products, services and/or associated vendor contracts and agreements.
- Ensures proper flow of information between finance, legal, information technology, marketing, human resources and other departments of the Credit Union.
- Reviews ongoing operations of SoCal Wealth Management and coordinates with Wealth Advisors and Chief Operating Officer as to current and future needs for new development and restructures; designs projects based upon strategic goals.
- Creates business plans, including timelines, budget/forecasts for projects.
- Along with Wealth Advisors, establishes performance requirements and personal development targets for Financial Advisors and administrative team members.
- Regularly monitors the performance of Financial Advisors and administrative team members and gives coaching and feedback when appropriate.
- Reviews ongoing operations and developments in the financial institution arena with a focus on best-in-class industry benchmarks and standards.
- Participates in, completes other projects, duties or tasks as needed by, or requested by Wealth Advisors and Chief Operating Officer.
- Complete understanding and active application the Exceptional Experience Guide expectations.
- Must be able and available to work a “hybrid” schedule, per business operations requirement, as needed.
- Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Pay Scale: Min $87,500 / Mid $109,800 / Max $132,000* per year
*Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
