We're currently searching for a skilled Water Treatment Technician to join our team and play an essential role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Water Treatment systems. Technical/Mechanical:
- Service commercial and residential Water Treatment equipment with precision and efficiency.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various Water Treatment systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on Water Treatment equipment.
- Execute basic plumbing repairs using PVC, Copper, and Galvanized pipe and fittings.
- Demonstrate basic electrical safety and troubleshoot 24-volt and 110-volt equipment.
- Identify Water Treatment equipment using proper terminology.
- Understand the layout of basic Water Treatment systems, including plumbing and electrical components.
- Knowledgeable about Whole House and Under the Sink Reverse Osmosis systems, Britton Method systems, and troubleshooting Triple-O systems.
- Replace, calibrate, and read water flow meters.
- Calibrate feed pumps and controllers.
- Repack media and troubleshoot the reasons for its need.
- Effectively communicate with customers regarding their Water Treatment systems, explaining necessary repairs and system functions.
- Interpret Water Treatment manuals.
Water Samples:
- Conduct water testing and sampling, including testing for Hardness and PH and determining the correct brine dosage based on resin volume.
- Collect water samples for methane, VOCs, organics, microbiological examination, and dissolved minerals.
- Analyze water samples, recognize colloidal iron on sight, and calculate polymer doses.
- Reliably complete fundamental water analysis for all parameters in both the shop and field environments.

Location:
Job duties are dispatched from our Sebastopol office and performed outside on customer property. Occasionally, jobs may be out of town, requiring employees to stay overnight.
Hours: Full Time, Nonexempt
Business hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
A minimum 30-minute unpaid meal break for every 5 hours worked and ten-minute paid rest periods for every four hours are provided.
Pay Grade: $21-40/hr.
