Water Treatment Specialist

About the Company:

Kessco Water is an authorized independent dealer of Kinetico Water Treatment systems. We are family-owned, and have operated in the Wabash Valley since 1983.

Hours:

Monday - Thursday

8:30am - 5:00pm

4-day work week

3-day weekend every week!

About the Position:

Kessco Water has three departments looking to fill this position: Install, Service, and Delivery.

Experience is a plus, but not required. We will train you to become a professional in our industry.

Install

• Installation of Kinetico Water Treatment equipment.
• Provide in-home service for Kessco Water customers.
• Able to understand basic plumbing concepts.
• Comfortable working in basements, crawlspaces, and utility closets.
• Comfortable working from technical diagrams.
• Comfortable discussing payments with customers, and able to take and record payments in the field.
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintains company tools, resources, and spare parts inventory.
• Executes all documentation required for the customer, and for corporate record and data management.
• Manages the customer relationship by effectively explaining the work being performed.

Service

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and provide preventative maintenance for Kinetico Water Treatment.
• Provide in-home service for Kessco Water customers.
• Able to understand basic plumbing concepts.
• Comfortable working in basements, crawlspaces, and utility closets.
• Comfortable working from technical diagrams.
• Comfortable discussing payments with customers, and able to take and record payments in the field.
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.

• Executes all documentation required for the customer, and for corporate record and data management.

Delivery

• Operating and maintaining Kessco's water purification system
• Refilling 5 and 3 gallon bottles with purified water
• Delivering 5 and 3 gallon water bottles and Kinetico water softener salt to Kessco's commercial and residential customers.
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintains company tools, resources, and spare parts inventory.
• Executes all documentation required for the customer, and for corporate record and data management.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Valid drivers’ license and a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, action and goal oriented.
• Proven “customer-centric” focus and approach with the ability to establish and change priorities as required.
• Problem solver, excellent listening and verbal skills, and exceptional customer service phone skills.
• Mechanical aptitude, good analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills; understanding the technology contained in the company’s products is essential.
• Accurate management of data, willingness to help others and an interest in executing responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
