SalaryHallsdale Powell Utility District currently has a job opening for a Water Treatment Plant Operator. The position involves operating and maintaining the Water Treatment Plants and other associated facilities. This position is also required to perform various laboratory tests and record test results and plant data for daily and monthly reporting. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Tennessee driver’s license. The successful Candidate will have to be willing to work day/night shifts, some holidays and weekends. Applicants who have a Grade 3 or 4 operator Certification or prior experience will be highly considered for this opening. Applicants that may have higher education that relates to Water Treatment or environmental studies would also be highly considered. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and physical. Hallsdale Powell Utility District is an E.O.E.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
