How will you contribute to the team?
- Assist in the compilation of hydrologic/hydraulic data and the preparation of reports.
- Participate in site visits and document the visit through notes and photographs.
- Assist with computer aided drafting and design (CADD) plans.
- Assist with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis and reporting.
- Must have good computer skills and be able to utilize standard office software. Be able to prepare charts and graphics to neatly present and convey key data.
What will you contribute?
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- College level courses in math, technical drafting, computer assisted drafting and/or science may be required. No experience is generally required with the applicable college courses or equivalent training, or if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field
- Must have completed 60 hours towards a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2024).
- SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
- Experience with AutoCAD or ArcGIS (preferred)
