Warhouse Associate

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Unload product from shipment containers and store them in the proper location

· Verify orders using invoices or order descriptions

· Review the quality of the product received

· Package and label orders for shipment

· Mark and label stock

· Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate information about the number and quality of products

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment in the warehouse

· Availability to work the schedule day shift hours and overtime based on the needs of the facility

· Strong focus on Safety

· Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/ESSENTIAL SKILLS

· High School Diploma or GED

· Previous (6 months) warehouse distribution experience is appreciated

· Rug and/or carpet experience is appreciated

· Self-motivated. Able to stay organized and complete tasks in a timely manner

· Interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team

· Proper use of required PPE

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Exposure to distribution/warehouse environment with physical and environment aspects associated with it (i.e., heat, cold, windy, etc.)

· Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs. unassisted

· Anything over 50 Lbs. must be a team lift

REQUIRED PPE

· If operating equipment

o Fall Restraint PPE

o Fall Protection Harness

o Fall Protection Lanyard

· No open toed shoes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
