Warehouse/Production Induction & End Of Line

This position is responsible for two different functions in our ecommerce department: induction of products into workflow and the photography and categorization of those products. This includes shoes, apparel, and accessories that are being prepared to be made available for sale online. This is an hourly position with the potential to receive productivity bonuses/incentives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Induction

• Unpack/unwrap pallets of shoes, apparel, & accessories to prepare them for induction
• Identify and scan the UPC barcode on each item individually
• Submit specific information about each item, such as brand, size, width, gender, and condition
• Apply a barcode label and place on the correct outbound conveyor for that item
• Maintain a production rate of 110 per hour while maintaining less than a 1% error rate
• Productivity bonuses are available at increasing amounts for exceeding required units

Listing

• Setup and photograph each item on a photography turntable with focus on presentation and appeal
• Upload those images to the proper inventory file
• Categorize the item for online sale based upon company guidelines
• Maintain a production rate of 30 units per hour while maintaining less than a 1% error rate
• Productivity bonuses are available at increasing amounts for exceeding required unit

Room 1/Production

Packing and sorting items according to work orders.

E-Comm:

Picking includes taking and collecting merchandise in a specified quantity per customer’s orders.

Support scanning and sorting functions on a per unit basis to enable the company to sell individual products by category and type.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be able to learn quickly and multitask
• Must be able to read, understand, and answer questions in English
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs to 40lbs daily
• Must be able to work in a drug free atmosphere
• Must be able to stand and walk for entire work shift
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to accept constructive criticism
• Must be able to use a tape gun and box cutter

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience working in warehouse environments

Physical Demands:

The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
• Must be able to traverse and access any/all areas of the warehouse
• Ability to work in a warehouse climate with a broad temperature range
