1stShift Warehouse Material Handler
Hours: 7:00AM to 3:30 PMMonday - Friday with additional overtime as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
- Prepare outgoing truck shipments
- Paperwork and packaging per instruction
- Transport materials to and from or between warehouse locations
- Supply materials to production lines
- Stock, stack or palletize materials
- Examine and report deterioration and damage
- Occasional inventory of materials
- Use of computers, weight scales, counting devices, tally sheets and calculators
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, shrink wrapping, and pallet banding tools and machinery
- Compare and verify information on paperwork and shipments
- Document paperwork discrepancies and damaged product
- Basic plant maintenance and grounds keeping duties as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have current lift truck license
- Ability to self motivate and stay busy
- Communication Skills
- Attention to detail
Temp to Hire position starting out at $12.00/hr.+ depending upon experience, with $1.00/hr. attendance bonus opportunity.
