What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Selecting inventory or packing customer orders under supervision.
• Loading or unloading delivery vehicles and assembling stock onto pallets, warehouse trucks, racks, or shelves.
• Opening cartons, bundles, and other containers and conveying stock to designated areas by hand, hand truck, or other equipment.
• Weighing, counting, and recording units of stock for customer order verification.
• Performing counter sales responsibilities as backup personnel.
• Performing wire cutting duties and inventory cycle counting as required.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Preferably have a High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Have six months to one-year warehousing/material handling experience.
• Have basic reading and math skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Have the ability to walk and move freely and regularly lift up to 70 pounds of stock.
• Have knowledge of warehousing procedures and security regulations.
