Material Handler/Forklift Operator Freezer Warehouse - 1St Shift

Due to growth, Core X Hutt an immediate opportunity on 1ST SHIFT for Material Handlers/Forklift Operators at our Hudsonville, MI location.

• 1st Shift - 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 pm (4) - 10 hour shifts, which includes a Saturday or Sunday + overtime as needed.

Starting wage- $22.50 per hour plus $100 monthly attendance bonuses.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work most of the day in an environment that is -10 to -20 degrees below zero (with appropriate personal protective equipment). This is a critical function of the position!
• Load/unload palletized product on/off semi-trailers
• Maneuvers product within the freezer to increase capacity efficiency utilizing radio frequency terminals on forklifts for proper inventory management.
• Case picks product to build customer orders.
• Complete safety and good management practice inspections as required.
• Maintain a safe/sanitary work environment for food storage and distribution.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience is strongly preferred, but Core X Hutt is willing to train.
• Ability to stand long periods of time and work in an environment that is -10 to -20 degrees below zero (with appropriate personal protective equipment).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced state of the art distribution facility.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and maneuver product both manually and with a forklift.
• Must be able to understand simple math and calculate product totals to build customer orders.
• Safety consciousness is required and the ability to adhere to all safety policies and procedures is mandatory.
