- Picks and packages parts order
- Packaging machines into crates: follow designs for building creates from wood, securing machine to base, and packaging misc. items such as floor stand, attachments, etc.
- Review pick lists and machine pull sheets for parts that are low in stock, filling out reorder form. Determine priority, vendor, reorder quantity and any other pertinent information.; Reorder boxes, wood and hardware
- Receive goods and determine the next phase for parts: put parts in stock or send out for additional work, i.e., drilling, tapping, painting. Give information to Supervisor.
- Create stock jobs for machinist and machine builders. Compile parts blueprint, process record and assign stock number.
- Schedule when to pour/pump glue based on customer demand. Pump from 55-gallon drum to smaller containers, label and put in stock.
- Warehouse maintenance includes reorganizing shelves, parts on shelves, daily cleaning and general organization of stock shelves.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting, pushing or pulling 1- 40 lbs., occasionally 41-100 lbs with use of hand truck or forklift
- Repetitive use of hands and feet required (both right & left)
- Frequently- bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, and grasping.
- Occasionally- Climbing, balancing, crawling, overhead lifting, work on ladders, and keying.
- Required to sit/stand/walk/drive 8 hours per day.
