Halron Lubricants Inc, a family-owned business, covering Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, is looking for an individual that is honest, hardworking, reliable, detail oriented and able to multi-task to add to our warehouse team.
Position Summary: Under limited supervision, is responsible for receiving and stocking product, picking, checking, and staging of orders.
Main Warehouse Functions:
- Receipting
- Put Away
- Picking
- Cycle Count
- Truck Loading/Unloading
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate truck, forklift, and all equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Inspects incoming products for damage or defects (receipting). Notifies supervisor of any problems observed with incoming product.
- Loading, unloading, repackaging and inventory of bulk products.
- Ensures inventory is properly placed and rotated in correct stocking locations within 24 hours of receipt of product (put away).
- Checks orders, picking items, for package deliveries prior to loading of trucks. Shrink-wraps larger orders prior to loading.
- Stage loads for drivers and double check the load for accuracy.
- Load trucks in an efficient, organized manner that accommodates driver’s delivery schedule.
- Monitor and repair any defective equipment in coordination with the Equipment department and Maintenance personnel.
- Maintains warehouse in a clean, safe, organized, and efficient manner.
- Complete cycle counts on a daily basis.
- Miscellaneous projects as assigned.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Look for ways to improve the warehouse function.
- Look for ways to improve the overall efficiency of the entire company from the receipt of product to delivery of product.
